Mission: The Community Development Department is divided up into two divisions; Building and Planning. The Building Division administers building permits for new construction, remodels, additions, and tenant improvements within the city limits. The Planning Division is made up of long-range planning and development review.

Church Creek Park

Within the city limits, a 16.5 acre park with tall trees, rolling grounds and picnic facilities.

Heritage Park

The 43.6 acre park includes ballfields, a Skateboard Park and a playfield.
